Andke põhjuseid, miks Eestiga ei juhtu ca 2 nädala pärast täpselt sama, mis Lätiga praegu?
I don’t get why the governments are so eager to get everyone vaccinated. Around 90% of people who die are over 65 years old, meaning it’s pretty much a disease linked to age and specific commorbidities, just like cardiac issues, diabetes, alzheimer or food poisoning linked to cheese. I check ERR’s daily stats and it’s mainly old people who die at ages near the natural life expectancy of Estonians.
In the meanwhile, the side effects are mainly concentrated in youth, who are not at risk, and it’s very unlikely that they will be ever compensated financially by the pharmaceutical firms, nor by the government. Even then, I’d prefer to be healthy and poor than “rich” and sick.
Comes from this a logical perspective:
* If the vaccine protects old people, who are the main population at risk, then it’d be better for them to get vaccinated.
* If you fear getting infected, you can get vaccinated freely, then live a normal life with people who are less risk-averse than you.
* If we are looking for reduction of hospital admittance, why are recoveries’ immunity against the discriminatory status limited to 6 months, which is lower than the vaccine’s? Why are the presence of antibodies (which reveal a prior infection) not accepted ?
I see often people complaining about conspiracy theories, but the objectives of the governments seem clearly not about public health, but only about vaccination rates, including to those who would absolutely not benefit from it, such as the 12-20 years old. No wonder some get quite suspicious about this treatment
Why do we have very disturbing authoritarian polices promoting a vaccine, which is now know to a) have much higher side effects than usual (0.3% following estonian stats), b) Does not last even a year c) Does not prevent the spread of a virus (delta-variant), and thus, any further mutations? d) While being still quite new, has almost no counterindications, even for childbearing (where you are supposed to stop taking almost any possible drug), or auto-immune diseases?
