If anything the 2-year break makes this year even more dangerous I guess. RIP rider that’s very sad.
Sad to see another life lost at the TT, its a brutal event!!
When you see the speeds and angles they take you do wonder sometimes how ANYBODY can manage to finish the damm thing.
I am not sure who is more crazy when it come to the TT, the bikers (who are fucking nuts) or the complete lunatic known as Mark Higgins who does the lap in a CAR whilst hitting a 128mph avg (178mph in parts on the kerb). That time is what the 600cc bikes do, but at least they have some room to wiggle.
They are all NUTTERS.
Without those people driving/riding would be more dangerous, seeing as its not just the performance stuff that trickles down from Motorsport, its the safety stuff as well.
(Dont get me started on the aliens known as “rally drivers”)
Ballagarey. Blind corner entry at 175 mph, 131mph blind crest apex at 45° of lean and a stone wall as the run off.
I hope Mark Purslows family are ok, and he didn’t suffer.

It’s such a hard race. Deaths almost every year recently, just tragic.
Love watching, but by god is dangerous.
This on board camera gives you an idea, this isn’t even at full pelt, just a demo lap:
