President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky discussed with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre Ukraine’s support in the defense and energy sectors.
According to the president, this information was published in his Telegram channel. The discussion concerned the supply of missiles for NASAMS air defense systems and the continuation of energy assistance.
“It is important to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense and the PURL program, through which we can buy missiles for air defense systems in the United States. A closed sky over Ukraine is one of the key factors that will compel Russia to end this war. We also discussed continuing energy assistance to Ukraine.”

The head of state expressed gratitude to Norway and Støre for the support provided, in particular for NASAMS missiles deliveries and energy assistance.
The press service also emphasized that the meeting’s focus was on diplomatic steps to end the war, as well as on preparing documents.

The parties agreed to continue energy support for Ukraine and to discuss a clear list of needs to enhance the country’s energy independence.
