In other words let’s blame the English fans and not our own institutions.
Deputy Mayor of Paris, who was at the game, has called for an apology towards the fans.
Hopefully they are realising it has been a disaster narrowly avoided and will make sure it doesn’t happen again.
Endless Champions league final (dis)organisation and Jubilee stuff…
Just this weeks “look a squirrel!” journalism to distract from how the media billionaires favourite political team is faring.
Sounds good to me.
What gets me is, knowing our away supporters have a “reputation” (like with any supporter demographic largely perpetuated by a minority of idiots) of course they queued up to slander the fans from the get-go before giving it a day or two for footage (at least what did not get suppressed) and accounts from people present.
Not saying our own weren’t responsible in some capacity, theres been a collective failure
There needs to be a full investigation of everything, why they decided to kettle the fans the way they did, the angle of fake/bootleg tickets, the police handling, all of it… bear in mind this was before a ball had even been kicked.
To provide a better translation.
Monsieur Macron does not want to lose in Paris, St Etienne, Marseille or anywhere else to La France Insoumise in the forthcoming National Assembly elections.
