Hi!
My name is Georgy. I’m a UX designer living in Slovenia. I’m currently working on a case study about stickers for garbage containers in Izola community.
Firstly, I think that visual and informative appearance isn’t at the highest level in the “garbage” field here in Slovenia. And this I guess worsens the waste sorting situation. I see myself how people often throw out garbage in the wrong containers. Secondly, this work would go into my UX design portfolio.
Actually, I really hope that I can bring it to the very top and unify the design system of such stickers for the whole country (or make a good change at least in Izola).
This survey is the first part of my work. After that I plan to talk to Komunala Izola. And then, using data gathered I’ll make my variants of the new stickers design. The results would be posted here.
Please, take couple minutes of your time and answer a few simple questions on the topic.

Sorry for English. I think my Slovenian isn’t that good yet for discussions on Reddit 😬

Thanks.
I think big issue are also containers which have a little food left in them which can be confusing.
Like meat package with a bunch of blood. Beans camps…
Hi Gregory, a little off topic, but can you give me a few starters on how to approach UxUi design, if its possible. Thx
I hope the stickers make a difference! I am always sad to see so much recyclable material being put in to the main trash. Even in residential areas (so were not talking about any confusion of where to put each type).
Unfortunately, I think many people know where it should go, but are too lazy to bother.
