Movistar Spain charging extra EUR 5-10 for 10 Gbps fibre

Movistar Spain (Telefonica) has launched its XGS-PON fibre service at download speeds of up to 10 Gbps in covered areas, ending a free trial begun at the end of last year. The option is currently available to existing MiMovistar Base (600 Mbps) subscribers for an additional EUR 10 a month or to MiMovistar Max and Ilimitado (1 Gbps) subscribers for an additional EUR 5 a month.
