Hundreds gather for WW2 veteran’s funeral

    We keep hearing stories like this and one of the sad things is they weren’t there when he was alive. I appreciate some people are grumpy old sods and want to be alone, or drive everyone away, but only showing your face once their dead doesn’t help him.

  2. Thatcher told the Church of Scotland the Good Samaritan was able to assist because he had the accumulated the means to do so, and that wealth would trickle down to where it was needed.
