  1. >It sparked an impartiality row, with Tory peer Daniel Moylan responding: ‘I simply can’t believe this. Does the BBC hire anyone who thinks or votes Tory?’

The Director-General of the BBC has literally stood for election as a Tory and was previously the deputy chairman of the Hammersmith and Fulham Conservative party.

  2. Every once and a while the Tories love to pull this ‘Bias’ card; too bad the BBC, with its Tory-appointed head, is known to have an inherent right-leaning bias as a result.

I’m not surprised they’re running this in the Mail either – it’s usually the first rag the Tories use to push this kind of propaganda attack.

  3. Tories showing yet again they do not value democracy or freedoms. Demanding silence about the man who has lost multiple jobs due to scandals and then had a dozen scandals as Mayor and several dozen as PM.

People have literally died because of Boris’ scandals and it looks set for more to die this winter because of them. If you don’t criticise him then you’re not impartial but rather pro British death.

  4. I’m confused, I thought that the Tories and the Daily Mail were huge fans of free speech. They love free speech so much that they’re forced to defend racists, homophobes, misogynists and other bigots because they love free speech so much that they need to demand that it be universal.

So why are they trying to silence Matthew Stadlen?
