Qualification competitions in women’s aerials skiing at 25th Winter Olympic Games in Italy saw Belarusian Hanna Huskova finishing eighth, which enabled her to compete for a medal in aerials final today, February 18th
The results of the first round of qualification did not make it possible for the leader of the Belarusian team to qualify for the final, but the points she scored in her best attempt (88.29) allowed the winner of the Olympic gold and silver to get to the decisive stage of the competition.
Unfortunately, two other Belarusians failed to qualify. Anastasiya Andryianava (74.02) was ranked 16th and Anna Derugo (71.63) was placed 17th in the final standings.
The best result in the qualification was shown by Canadian Marion Teno (108.61 points). Interestingly, among the top 12 were four athletes from China and three Americans.
