I’m an American, I really hope this video is real. My Grandmother and Great Uncle would have been 10, and 12. They are both passed, but I felt I was walking in their childhoods watching. They both came to America after WW2, neither ever really talked about Lativa. As I’ve learned history I understand why, but in 1929 they were children, not 11 years later when they were coming of age.

This reminded me of photos taken in Lithuania at around a similar time. At that time it looks like we weren’t held back by occupants and would’ve advanced so much more if Soviet union didn’t exist
