> A steady stream of Tories have backed a ballot to decide the prime minister’s future, or called for Mr Johnson to step down, with three new names surfacing on Monday and a fourth MP resubmitting a letter of no confidence he previously withdrew in light of the Ukraine crisis.
> The Telegraph reported that Conservative whips are now in talks about how to respond if the letter tally reaches 54, which would force 1922 Committee chairman Sir Graham Brady to call a vote.
*Boris Johnson offering free blow jobs for those who support him*
About bloody time too.
54 letters and the 1922 committee calls a vote. Why do I suspect De piffle will change the rules, perhaps letters from every Tory MP instead of 54.
Apparently there are rumours floating around Whitehall that the threshold has already been met and they’re just waiting for the Jubilee to anounce it (so as not to overshadow the queen) which seems silly but also very Tory.
He’s served his purpose for the party. Now he is more of a liability and starting to spill his bad reputation on the rest of the party members.
Plot Twist:-
that Johnson’s allies will bump up the numbers to create debate and vote, which of course he will win.
Then he has free 12 months (Tory Leadership rules) to do what he likes, without worry.
Maybe he wants the challenge to come sooner rather than later.
Even my friends who are ardent Tory voters say it’s time to go
hopefully enough but even if they get to vote, I’m not sure enough will vote him out
Didn’t they ‘pile up’ last time as well..or was that the time before? I’m sure there was a pile when he bullshitted Herself and had parliament prororororoguerered too. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if he appears with his buttons wrong, blusters his way through a mumbling ‘sorry if..’ leads three cheers for the Queen and Gen Haig and everyone says “cuh!, Boris eh? They broke the mould when they made him”
Stop smiling like that Boris, you’re not Winston Churchill, you’re disgusting.
*I am Winston Churchill*
You’ll note Laura Farris isn’t on the list.
Utterly spineless, I think she spends her days desperately hoping someone else will do her job for her.
46 publically so far.
Looks like the greased piglet is starting to call around offering promotions to shore up his support.
Heard from a source in party that Boris loyalists are considering letting it go to a vote.
Expose the backstabbers when vote comes to ahead by pretending to want Boris gone but then expose plotters to papers and Tory voters.
Plus will stop the desperation from media constantly trying to say Boris will be gone.
It seems like conservatives everywhere reach their peak in their student government days and never grow from there.
Something, something jumping ship. No honour among Tories I guess
They should leave him in, play the long game! No way they’ll win in the next election with that nob in charge.
There’s a couple of by elections-coming up in a couple of weeks, how they go will decide it I expect
I actually want the swine to remain as a Prime Minister. This hopefully will ensure that the Tories lose at the next election and several more after that. With him going now, nothing will change anyway.
Call me a cynic, but this could all be a staged “show of disapproval” to make the plebs think something is being done but there is zero chance of Bozo being ousted.
He’d have been gone two years ago if it wasn’t for COVID. He’s an absolute liability in every sense.

ITV lists 30 MPs who’ve publicly called for Johnson to go, including
> Anne Marie Morris (who, after having the Tory whip restored, has resubmitted her letter)
Seems she had the temerity to [support removing VAT from domestic fuel bills](https://www.annemariemorris.co.uk/news/statement-removal-whip) and so was justly punished back in January.

Meanwhile, in the latest survey of Tory party members, Johnson has [the lowest approval rating in the entire Cabinet](https://inews.co.uk/news/politics/boris-johnson-approval-rating-cabinet-tory-reaction-sue-gray-partygate-report-1658736) at net -15, the only cabinet member in negative members.
