AFAIK Tesla is currently the only car producer not taking part in the collective bargening agreement (Tarifvertrag) with IG Metall. I do not think it will go well for them to demand from their workers to work more than the industry standard, which is set by that agreement. I do not think Elon Musk understands how unions & cooperation between companies and unions in germany functions.
