When was the last time The Irish Times actually broke a stories like these? They don’t really fulfil any investigative journalism role in Irish society. They tend to just report on events that Sunday papers might originally have broken.
What happens next here?
Surely ABP needs to be dissolved and any cases with conflicts of interest must be submitted again from the start.
So she requested additional information for the application knowing that the companies submitting the application would employ her husband’s company to undertake the work. Pretty damning if true
I’m starting to feel very, very angry and very, very hopeless.
This is so corrupt, getting a fucking handout for nothing, basically looking at the reports and saying look, I can fast forward this application if you submit one more report from this particular company. Her husband probably doesn’t even perform the review, just rubber stamps it and gets on with his day
So, in the absence of any official accountability – when do we bring out the guillotines?
