Unintelligent and aggressive is a dangerous combination.
“On a rope”, this drives me loopy when I take my little dog out, some owners have their dog on a long rope so their dog has a large range of possible attack, or the worst sort is those shitty long leads where the lead itself is very thin, we’ve come across aggressive dogs on those and I’m always worried the lead will snap, I’ve gone through 2 of those already and I’ve got a little Poochon, now I have a strong lead which he can’t snap.
Also “Staffy looking dog”, could be one of many breeds.
I will say, every actual Staffy me and little dog have come across have been lovely and friendly, I even had a girl thank me profusely for letting my little dog meet and greet her Staffy, the girl was saying most people drag their dogs away from her dog, but I could see her dog approaching with a waggly tail so I didn’t.
Anyway, this news article is bloody rubbish, staffy type dog, long rope, bad CCTV.
If you can’t keep your dog under control on a bus, don’t bring your dog on a bus. The owner is lucky it wasn’t a little kid it attacked.

I’m completely surprised that a dog breed created for dog fighting (out of a bull-baiting dog line and a vermin-killing terrier line) attacked another dog.
But of course this must be a pack of lies because my Bull Terrier is the sweetest dog ever and therefore none of them can be vicious etc etc.

Oh look. Even working dogs aren’t safe from untrained useless doggos. Fantastic. What hope do humans have. Time for muzzles on dogs in public (exceptions being, in fenced dog parks + *trained* working dogs)

I knew this comment section would be Breed Wars and it didn’t disappoint.
The guide dog did not sustain serious injuries because other passengers interviened. What I wanted to read.
I’m glad guide doggo is okay. If it’s anything like my lab retrievers it’s response to an aggressive dog would be to immediately roll over in submission so it’s lucky this happened on a bus where a lot of people could step in to help.
There need to be stricter dog control in place.
Recently there have been too many attacks on inicent and vulnerable people.
An attack on a guide dog (assistance dog) is an offence, hopefully this idiot is caught and given a hefty fine or prosecution for having an out of control dog.
Oh just kill the breed off and be done with it.
And start giving out harsher sentences to people that own these things, frankly the act of purchasing one should warrant a years sentence at minimum.

No surprise about the breed of dog, yet again
I got nipped by a dog the other day as I went to pick something up from an ad on marketplace.
The dog (big Labrador) was friendly enough. I said to the owner he looks pretty friendly and he said he was so I gave him some fuss.
I asked him about his age etc and said he’s a big dog, sure he’s a cross breed. He the told me he was half Doberman. Made sense why he was such a unit.
Then we chatted for a few more seconds the dog nipped at my hands (luckily the back of my hand was facing the dog and his teeth slid down my knuckles/fingers). I’m unsure if this was for more fuss or if it was being aggressive.
The owners were appalled asking if I was ok etc. I’m just glad I left my toddler napping in the car.
The problem with all bull breeds is not their personality – they generally ARE sweethearts but, their jaws are so bloody large and strong, and that sideways grinding bite they have when their jaws lock. ALL dogs can do serious damage (I have two small Italian Greyhounds – the way they can bite through tough, hard plastic shows how much more easily they’d crush human bones, but when bull breeds bite, the damage is so much more ferocious, much more immediately. They rip tissue like it’s nothing, end lives – and that’s why they’re banned in some countries.
And of course irresponsible people can buy them just as easily as people who know how to keep and handle them.
You can’t put the breed in the title. You spoiled it for people playing “Guess the Breed”.
Ban dangerous breeds. Enough is enough.

I got banned from r/rarepuppers recently for calling out the staffy propaganda on reddit lmao vicious fucking things. It’s never a Yorkie or a sausage dog hurting people/animals lol
