A new cycling-led MICE forum will launch in Slovenia in September 2026. The event bring together 30 buyers and 30 suppliers on a multi-day, guided bike trip.
MeetSleepCycle Slovenia will run from 20-23 September 2026.
Co-founders of Eat Sleep Cycle Louise Laker and Chris McQue trialled a cycling, networking event in Costa Brava (Catalonia, Spain), and decided that the format had legs (wheels).
McQue said: “How often do we get to put our phones away and have real conversations?” He added that moving in tandem helps people to connect.
Over three days, buyers will have up to 26 pre-scheduled meetings with a series of suppliers. There will also be content sessions about sustainability and delegate wellbeing. Three locations and hotels will be showcased over the course of the trip.
What’s the route?
The trip will begin in Kransjka Gora, an Alpine winter sports town in northwestern Slovenia, near the Austrian and Italian borders. From there, it will move on to Bohinj, a basin that contains Slovenia’s largest lake, Lake Bohinj.
Finally, the tour will end in finishing in Bled, a picturesque town on Lake Bled with mountain views. Bled is one of Slovenia’s most visited destinations.
