The Food Warehouse by Iceland Foods is launching at Gallagher Retail Park in Caerphilly on February 24, bringing an expanded shopping experience and generating an estimated 15 additional jobs for the local community.
An enhanced version of the traditional Iceland store, The Food Warehouse offers customers a wider range of products and even bigger value packs.
Kristian Barrett, chief operating officer at Iceland Foods, said: “We’re excited to be opening our new store in Caerphilly, bringing more fantastic deals and a brilliant range of frozen, grocery and fresh foods to local shoppers.
“We can’t wait to open our doors and see our customers enjoy the unrivalled variety of products available across the store.”
To celebrate the launch, The Food Warehouse is giving away £1,500 worth of vouchers to the first 150 customers in the queue.
Exclusive opening week offers will be available through to March 2, only at the new location.
On opening day, every customer in the queue before 7.30am will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to take part in a 90-second trolley dash.
Seven customers will also take home a Tower air fryer.
A Daewoo double drawer air fryer will be given to the person who correctly guesses the number of sweets in a jar.
Visitors can also spin the Pepsi Max wheel for a chance to win prizes and enjoy free Pepsi samples.
The new store features multi-buy deals including 5 for £5, 3 for £10, and 2 for £8, and will stock exclusive ranges such as Slimming World, Cathedral City, and TGI Friday’s.
The Food Warehouse will be open from 8am to 10pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
