Probably we did our natural excess deaths were lower than the official covid death toll, but I’m glad the government counted deaths the way they did as it was a bit more open when you compare it to places like Florida.
As far as I remember, they did for a while – not out of conspiracy, but out of an abundance of caution in how they were counted.

Well they did, but not from a bad place. There’s no accurate way to measure Covid deaths because you would have to answer is someone died with Covid or because of Covid.
The COVID death numbers were substantially overstated worldwide and several countries have now quietly acknowledged this. The reported deaths were people who “died with COVID” instead of “died due to COVID”. The former is what was reported, but the later is what should have been reported.
The vast majority of people who “died with COVID” were elderly and already had multiple health problems. Their primary causes of death were cancer, heart disease, kidney failure, and other common causes. However, because they happened to also test positive for COVID when they were admitted to the hospital, they were listed as having “died with COVID”.
The true number of “died due to COVID” deaths may never be known, as that information has been obscured by governments for the last two years. Analysts have estimated that the true number of “died due to COVID” is 60% t0 80% below the reported “died with COVID” numbers.
I know a man who lost is father to a sudden death, poor man died in his sleep, so because of covid at the time you had to wait to take the body out of the hospital….I think it was 2 days he was there until a doctor came and said to the family that basically if they declared he passed away from covid they could fast track his body out of the hospital, now I’m not totally sure of the ins and outs but that is what I was told by a close friend of the guy.
But his dad was put down as a covid death when he never had it.
Great, so a large segment of our population is living in a conspiracy fuelled false reality.

What’s the point of surveying people’s opinions on that? Can’t we just look at the data.
There was always a bit of confusion about dieing of Covid and with Covid.
