  1. Personally I think the bacon rasher and cream crackers and two sided stethoscope which every doctor uses as the hypodermic syringe Are the best…..none of which are on this list weirdly …..I demand a reprint

  2. I think one of my fav’s is:

    1844: Irish physician Francis Rynd invented the hollow needle and used it to make the first recorded subcutaneous injections, specifically a sedative to treat neuralgia.

    Hopefully it’s benefit has evened out our apparent war contributions 🤣
