I never fail to be impressed for people who start successful businesses, let alone with his age and social background.
Good for him, but he’s an outlier.
How many more people would find their calling or start a business if they didnt need to exist worrying about food, heating and health problems caused by poverty/malnutrition.
As inspiring as this story is it still promotes the idea of the idle undeserving poor.
“See, he did it? The rest of you poors could too if you really wanted it enough”
