My uncle died a few months back and we found a rake of old coins cleaning out his house, including 17 pounds in those millennium coins down the back of his shed.
Is the millennium punt upside down?
Why is the Millennium one upside-down?
I had 2000 in all of these, but at the last minute prioritised a 50p from 1988. Silly
The Millenium Colin upside down kind of looks like an umbrella on a rainy day which is kind of perfect.
Mam gis tehemence
How’d you mount these in the frame? A little insert or did you just stick them to the glass?
I do not miss those punt coins as I they were always wearing out pockets.
How much would the millennium punt be worth these days?
It always kinda bothered me that we never put a hare on any of the coins. They are our national animal and cooler than the other side of the pillow
Seeing these is like remembering a language you used to speak.. like if you picked these up, you’d know how to use them again straight away. It’s cool.
I adore this
Such a shame that the government didn’t use these designs for the Irish Euros
I have the same collection. It took me aaaaages to get a 50p from 2000. But I got it!
