My neighbour says I can’t join our Platinum Jubilee party as I didn’t chip in

  1. Imagine how much of a dipshit you’d have to be for thinking you could prevent someone from actually leaving their home because they refused to chip in for a street party.

  2. Much like the clapping for the NHS, the jubilee is becoming a competition to see who is the most patriotic. It’s sociopathic

  3. >But the story may be too good to be true as his apparent ‘neighbour’ also posted on the same forum just hours later with his side of the argument.

At least some of this is fake

  4. God being one of these ‘human interest’ journalists is easy these days. You used to have to go out and actually find stories and now you just report random shit on reddit. Easy life…

  5. It has been fun to moderate it over at AskUK. Lots of seething in reportqueue/modmail about how _their_ special shitpost should be permitted, how its turning the place into CasualUK (god forbid!!?), amongst all the usual abuse.

The minority that get so upset over a bit of fun has been quite the sight to behold.
