Excelerate Energy Inc. (EE) has released its financial performance for the fourth quarter and the full year, according to an Associated Press report. The company, based in The Woodlands, Texas, announced a quarterly profit of $9.1 million, which translated to 28 cents per share. When adjusted for certain one-time costs, per-share earnings were 29 cents.
This adjusted earnings figure fell short of the average forecast from analysts. A survey of five analysts conducted by Zacks Investment Research had anticipated earnings of 30 cents per share. However, the company’s quarterly revenue of $317.6 million exceeded market expectations, which were set at $252.5 million based on a survey of four analysts.
For the entire year, Excelerate Energy reported a profit of $39.2 million, or $1.28 per share. Annual revenue reached $1.23 billion. The company operates in the floating liquefied natural gas terminals sector.
