LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Nevada-based Caesars Entertainment is reportedly considering takeover offers.

The Financial Times reported Thursday that billionaire Tilman Fertitta’s company, Fertitta Entertainment, is one of the interested parties.

There are also talks of a management-led buyout.

Fertitta Entertainment oversees the Golden Nugget chain of casino-hotels, which includes three locations in Nevada. Tilman Fertitta, who is currently the U.S. ambassador to Italy, also owns a major equity stake in Wynn Resorts.

Reno-based Eldorado Resorts absorbed the Las Vegas-based Caesars back in 2020, creating the largest casino operator in the United States.

The combined company kept the Caesars name but maintains its headquarters in Reno.
