Jordan Loyd scored 37 points and hit a game-winner for Poland leading them to a win against Latvia.

Another dramatic finish in the 2027 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers unfolded in Latvia, as Poland edged out an incredible last-second victory in Riga.

Poland’s 2025 EuroBasket star Jordan Loyd delivered yet another sensational performance.

Loyd led the way for Poland with 37 points, drilling a step-back three-pointer at the buzzer to seal an 84–82 victory over Latvia.

With the victory, Poland remains undefeated atop Group F at 3–0, while Latvia drops to 1–2 after suffering its second loss in three games.

Jordan Loyd and Mateusz Ponitka powered Poland with a combined 64 points. Loyd poured in 37 points on 6-of-9 shooting from two-point range and 7-of-15 from beyond the arc, while Ponitka added 27 points, shooting 8-of-18 from the field.

For Latvia, Arturs Strautins led the way with 27 points on 8-of-16 shooting.
