A man has died after reportedly being washed away while attempting to cross a flooded creek in South Australia’s north, SA Police say.
Police said emergency services were called to RM Williams Way about 30km north of Orroroo, in the Southern Flinders Ranges, about 9:30am following reports a motorcyclist had been washed away when attempting to cross a flooded creek.
“Following a search, the rider, a 47-year-old man was sadly found deceased,” police said.
“There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the man’s death.”
Police said a report would be prepared for the coroner.
