Imports and exports are already down significantly, are we just trying to kill trade at this point? The tories weren’t lying when they said fuck business
Just imagine if they had implemented these mandatory new checks into the system and charged properly for it, rather than trying to wring out their losses from the government having these checks delayed (again, for the 4th time.)
On top of more cost, *more delays.*
Sunlit uplands.
Holy crap that’s the worst source attributation I’ve ever seen, may aswell have just written “said someone”
“A source talking to Loadstar”
In my town, when trade was down, they would make car parking free!
*”Well there’s there’s the custom clearance fee, the handling fee, the processing and compliance fees as well as the weekend surcharge and because your container is blue there’s the ‘bend over and lube up’ fee.”*
Next time don’t vote Brexit.
So hold up, I’m a little confused here:
If I buy £2 of LEDs and resistors from China, I’ll have to pay £17 to get it through customs? Or does it apply to the whole shipping container?
