PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — Providence police said five people were arrested after multiple disturbances outside of Paris Bistro Lounge early Monday morning.

According to police, an officer observed a man engaged in a physical altercation with a security staff outside the restaurant on 375 Smith St. at around 1:07 a.m.

Officials said that man, 26-year-old Lathan Dure, was taken into custody after a brief struggle.

As officers were attempting to put Dure in a cruiser, 29-year-old Alijah Martino interfered with the arrest, Providence police said.

Authorities said Martino, who kicked an officer, was also taken into custody.

Police then saw 25-year-old Adamarelis Quinones who was involved in a separate altercation.

As Providence police attempted to place her into arrest, two more men, later identified as 24-year-old Luis Quinones and 27-year-old Oscar Soto, physically interfered, officials said.

Providence police said the two men were also placed in handcuffs.

Officials said they were all taken to the police station.

According to police, Dure and Martino are facing charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, obstruction and simple assault.

Adamarelis Quinones is facing charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and obstruction.

Providence police said Luis Quinones and Oscar Soto were both charged with obstruction.

According to the Board of Licenses, it is holding an emergency show cause hearing at noon on Monday regarding this incident at Paris Bistro Lounge.
