D23 members can attend a special tour of the New Amsterdam Theatre in New York this April. Tickets for the event go on sale Friday, March 6.
For $50 (plus a $3 processing fee), both D23 General and Gold Members can tour the historic New Amsterdam Theatre during two days in late April. Tours take place on Wednesday, April 22, at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. and Thursday, April 23, at the same times. Guests will learn all about the iconic space and even have the chance to see Disney on Broadway props and costumes.
The tour is 50 minutes with an in-house historian and also includes a commemorative pin for the occasion. Tickets go on sale for Gold Members on March 6 at 1 p.m. EST, and General Members can also buy tickets on March 6, but starting at 2 p.m. EST.
The New Amsterdam Theatre, which houses Disney’s Aladdin, is on 42nd Street in New York City. This theater, built in 1903, is the oldest operating theater on Broadway and has housed everything from The Ziegfeld Follies to Mary Poppins. Disney’s Aladdin has been at the theater since 2014.
