BRUSSELS, March 4 (Reuters) – Belgium’s Brussels Airport will have no departing passenger flights on March 12 due to a national strike that some security staff will participate in, the airport said on Wednesday.

Safety Measures and Coordination with Airlines

“To ensure the safety of passengers and staff, we have decided, in consultation with the airlines, not to operate any departing flights on 12 March,” the airport said, adding that cancellation of some arriving flights that day is also possible.
