Punxsutawney Area High School students will present Roald Dahl’s “Matilda the Musical” at in the James Colonna Performance Center Friday, March 6, and Saturday, March 7, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 8, at 2 p.m. Erin Knepper, director, said they are taking 20 backpacks from this year’s show and putting together comfort bags to be given to children going through a rough time, which may include blankets, coloring utensils, books, coloring books stuffed animals, and toys. They are asking the community to donate to their project by bringing items like those listed above or financial contributions to their performances.
