I have been searching constantly but cannot actually find how to apply for a working holiday visa in Croatia. I am from Canada and wish to get a visa asap because my 90 day limit stay in Croatia is soon coming to an end.

Whenever I do the research on this link it just tells me to go to the local police station to apply and check the website which is not in english. I will be doing that soon but just concerned if they don’t speak any English, I just wanted to know if anyone knew roughly how long the process takes, how much it is? Just so I know what to prepare and who to speak to at the police station?

I also was looking into eventually trying out a digital nomad visa instead but not able to do that right now currently and wanted to make sure that if I apply for one of these visas, I am not going to be banned from trying for another type of visa as well

  1. it looks pretty simple ( other way around is a bit more complicated)

just go to some big police station and ask about it. Also, you can reach to Canadian ambasade in Zagreb and they can help you.

I would go to Zagreb as I guess they have most experienced, more then some small local police station

  2. Why do people who can’t speak a word of local language decide to live there.
It’s rude and tells me you don’t care about our culture or our people.
When you go and live in Germany you learn german.
If you go and live in US you need to speak English, etc.
Learn croatian if you want to live in Croatia, otherwise get the fuck out.
Being a tourist is something else and for that reason you don’t need to speak local language.
