The Czech broadcaster has revealed teaser images of their artist for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 ahead of their announcement this weekend.
With a few days to go until the Czech representative for Eurovision 2026 is revealed, the Czech broadcaster has released a series of pictures teasing at their singer for Vienna. The Czech representative will be revealed on Sunday, March 8 at 20:00 CET, while their song is set to be released on Wednesday, March 11 at 20:00 CET.
Little is currently known about the potential Czech entry apart from the fact that Czechia is set to be represented by a male artist at the 70th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest.
The Czech broadcaster ČT previously revealed that a total of 260 songs were submitted for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. An open call for songs took place for six weeks between September and mid-October. The entries were then reveiwed by a combination of experts and a public poll.
ADONXS represented Czechia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with “Kiss Kiss Goodbye”. He placed 12th in Semi-Final Two scoring 29 points, receiving his highest score of 8 points from the Rest of the World vote.
Czechia first competed in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007. After three non-qualifications, they withdrew from the contest and did not return until 2015. Gabriela Gunčíková took Czechia to their first final in 2016. They achieved their best result at the contest in 2018, when Mikolas Josef came 6th with the song “Lie to Me”. Until 2023, the nation took part under the name the Czech Republic.
