  1. *The exact details of the regulations to be repealed has yet to be decided but the bulk are likely to be related to the environment, workplaces, transport, tax and health and safety, according to those involved*

Because environment, workplaces, transport, tax and health and safety are all things destroying our country……….Wait

  2. Wait, hasn’t this happened yet? Was told multiple times that the ‘bonfire of workers rights’ would occur years ago.

  3. USA here we come shit in the food, while shit in charge appease the Daily Mail readers and all will be forgiven.

  4. So he lies about fucking up. Denies being caught fucking up. Is publicqlly caught out fucking up. Changes the rules so he doesn’t have to resign after fucking up. Now is doubling down on fucking up?

Anybody who is willing to vote for this man should be ashamed of themselves and tried for treason.

  5. Street party for some old privileged bint: i sleep

Rejoining the EU: I’M TAKING A WEEK OFF WORK AND CELEBRATING FOR 0.041 SOLAR ROTATIONS

  6. “Johnson plans bonfire of EU laws that our elected MEPs voted for”

Should be the title imo. Just like when Mogg was saying looking into withdrawing the car speed limiter EU law recently despite like only 5 of our 75 MEPs voting against it.

    Very undemocratic

  7. I love how the laws that protect us normal citizens are just something cheap and disposable to be given away for the sake of one mans failing political career.

  8. The bonfire of EU legislation doesn’t require the palsied hand of Johnson at the tiller. Anyone can do it.

  9. Why would this appease backbenchers? Just resign and let someone more competent take over, I’m sure they can find a stray cat near Downing Street.

  10. This was always the plan. The entire point of Brexit from the point of view of the top of the Tory party was to remove regulations that stand in the way of increased profits for big business. Workers rights, health and safety laws, and quality standards for food, water and air will all be watered down hugely over the next few years.

  11. I’ll never understand how this works. We had MEPs voting for these EU laws, and in some cases proposing / presenting the laws.

Essentially, we’re repealing our own laws for bugger all. All said and done though, I don’t think he’ll do it as he keeps doing U-Turn after U-Turn.

  12. What really fucks me off is that they are keeping the genuinely shit laws like the stupid volume limiters on ipods, and poxy speed limiters on cars, but getting rid of the actual good stuff like food standards and product safety regulations.

    Utter knobheads.

  13. Sounds like a great way to make UK goods and services even harder to sell to the EU while making it easier for EU members to sell goods and services over here.

  14. all the shit they spouted about not lowering standards… i now presume they were talking about their own standards.

  15. This makes no sense because we have to abide by EU regulations to export stuff to them.

    Same with the US.

We’re going to become the China of Europe, but not in a way that we are all rich, but instead all work in workhouses for peanuts.
