CINCINNATI (WXIX) – President Donald Trump will visit Cincinnati Wednesday to tout his administration’s economic accomplishments and lower drug prices, White House officials announced.
The President will be hosted by Thermo Fischer Scientific, where he is expected to discuss his Most Favored Nation Pricing agreement and the launch of TrumpRX.go, both initiatives aiming to lower prescription drug prices in the United States, according to the White House Regional Press Secretary Liz Huston.
President Trump will visit the great state of Ohio next week to celebrate his economic victories and showcase one of his most transformational policies: delivering lower prescription drug prices for working families. Thanks to President Trump’s Most Favored Nation pricing… https://t.co/njAP06QIzG

Wednesday’s visit will mark Trump’s first time in the Queen City since taking office for the second time in 2025.
Since his swearing in, inflation has remained high compared to the Federal Reserve’s goal of 2 percent.
The visit comes as several state elections ramp up ahead of the midterms in November 2026, when Ohio will decide key races for the U.S. Senate, House of Representatives and governor.
The state, long considered a swing state, has favored Republicans in recent years, including voting for President Trump in 2016, 2020 and 2024.
