Ankeny-based homebuilder Greenland Homes’ 2025 Charity Build raised $220,000 to benefit Children’s Cancer Connection, a nonprofit supporting Iowa families affected by childhood cancer. The newly constructed home, located in Ankeny near Saylorville Lake, was built in partnership with local trade partners, with all net proceeds donated directly to the nonprofit. This marks the seventh charitable home built since the partnership began in 2012, bringing total contributions to $769,000. Children’s Cancer Connection serves more than 830 families annually through free programs camps, and outreach initiatives. “CCC is there when families need support most — and that is only possible because of long-time community partners like Greenland Homes who invest in these critical programs,” Jennifer Hines, Children’s Cancer Connection CEO, said in a prepared statement.
