During his speech, while discussing Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s love of Latin American countries, Trump made a comment that has now gone viral:

“I’d love to get to your countries at some point,” Trump said to the audience. “Marco loves going to your countries…he likes your countries the best.”

“He’s got a language advantage over me, ’cause I’m not learning your damn language. I don’t have time,” Trump continued as people in the crowd laughed.

“I was OK with languages, but I’m not gonna spend time learning your language, that much I won’t do,” he said. “Just give me a good interpreter.”
