During his speech, while discussing Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s love of Latin American countries, Trump made a comment that has now gone viral:

“I’d love to get to your countries at some point,” Trump said to the audience. “Marco loves going to your countries…he likes your countries the best.”
“He’s got a language advantage over me, ’cause I’m not learning your damn language. I don’t have time,” Trump continued as people in the crowd laughed.

“I was OK with languages, but I’m not gonna spend time learning your language, that much I won’t do,” he said. “Just give me a good interpreter.”
In response, this person said: “Latinos for Trump must be so proud.”
Another person called Trump “astoundingly offensive.”
“I taught myself Spanish. He’s just admitting he’s stupid,” another person said.

And as this person said, “He really ought to be busy studying English vocabulary, grammar, and punctuation.”
