As satisfying as it is to see football hooligans getting shit on, the footage I’ve seen of this is just unjustified. It is similar to the old meme of the American police officer spraying those sitting and restrained students, they have police casually walking past gates spraying crowds of old and young people who are just holding up their tickets showing they should be let through.
I’m yet to see anything but crowds a little loud as they’re getting annoyed at the badly managed process that seemed to be disproportionately affecting English fans.
If they were yobbish it would be funny to see but instead it is grannies and dorky boys coughing and gagging after suddenly being sprayed even as they slowly walk through the gate being approved to come in.
