Ryanair to quit London Stock Exchange in December over Brexit

  1. I’m guessing our favourite scumbag bargain basement airline boss doesn’t want the authorities looking too closely into the company.

  2. Makes sense given the EU rules around airline share ownership.

Will probably see more companies which list in both markets consolidate in either the UK or the EU depending on whether they make revenues globally or more exclusively within the EU.

  3. Ah yes, the Irish ultra low-cost airline voted the “world’s worst short-haul airline” in a 2020 survey by Which? of more than 6,500 passengers, with complaints including numerous extra fees (£40 per bag), uncomfortable seats, no in-flight entertainment options, and poor customer service.

  4. While the headline is technically accurate, *Ryanair no longer able to trade on Europe’s largest stock exchange due to EU regulation* would have better described the facts at hand.

  5. Funny how every post about the UK is swarmed by r/badunitedkingdom posters. Why is it, they hate bad news so much?
