EU opinion poll on Covid response satisfaction

  1. It was always clear that we were one of the countries best at handling it. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to be like the Nordics and live mostly normally, since our cases would always get too high and so we needed very tough restrictions instead, which other countries refused to do despite needing them.

We also however didn’t dogmatically stick to them when they weren’t necessary. When it was clear that omicron wasn’t resulting in a significant amount of ICU cases, we dropped nearly all restrictions. So maybe it wasn’t all part of a secret plan to keep us locked up?
