All current staff will be moving to the new site, Iceland said, with nine new jobs also created.

To celebrate the new store opening, the chain is giving away £1,500 worth of vouchers to the first 150 customers in the queue.

On opening day, customers in the queue before 7.30am wil have the chance to win a supermarket sweep-style experience where they get 90 seconds to fill their trolley and walk away with the contents for free, and there will also be air fryers given away.
