Nothing new that that’s the plan, for China to have Russia as it’s lap dog, same way the US have the UK, but with the dependency dialed up way past 11.
You see this already in how China is stripping Russia for parts, from first buying their military hardware, to building their own tanks and jets with some Russian parts to now even those remaining parts being copied. They’ve already announced domestic jet fighter engines, but that has turned into a dud because the Chinese still can’t replicate them reliably down to the metallurgic level.
