All national anthems of european countries

  1. It is so funny how most the anthems are pompous and belligerent about how glorious/great/brave/fearless/invincible/beautiful the people or the country are,

    and then you have Slovenia and Belarussia just sitting in the corner singing Why can not we be friends? together

    and Moldova, being happy for their language;

    and Netherlands, being one of the two derps of Europe, because the dutch language was not enough, but being outdone by the derp no. 1, Czechia. Having the line ‟where is my home” as the opening line is … simply glorious. Were you drinking to much again?

  2. La Marseillaise is the by far the best one imo. Great melody, tells a story and straight to the point.

    I like Turkish anthems melody and lyrics, it just lacks rhythm though.

    German anthem is realy nice, it is straight to the point again and great melody.

    God Save The Queen (king) is… Alright… I mean im not saying its bad, but something feels odd everytime i listen. It feels so slow for a national anthem.

  3. It’s a shame the Welsh national anthem isn’t included, it’s beautiful in my Welsh opinion. I’m sure there are others missing too. Scotlands is a banger.

  4. The Sami people has a national anhem as well:

    *Far up North ‘neath Ursa Major*
    *Gently rises Saamiland.*
    *Mountain upon mountain.*
    *Lake upon lake.*
