Honestly, one of my favourite Italian cities. It is so underrated especially here in Italy. Many foreigners come because of the story of Romeo and Juliet, whereas some Italians just consider it a boring northern city. In reality, it is one of the pretties in the north of Italy, and in my opinion the most beautiful in the Veneto region – Venice is beautiful too, but Verona has got the hills!
I went to Milan, Verona and Venice for a week. This was my favourite personally.
