Hello! I am a student part of a club that studies global events. We’re encouraged to try and use news sources from where an event is happening, rather than always rely on our own country’s media. I’m currently searching for Estonian media I can read from. I came here to ask if any of you could give me recommendations or give thoughts on what sources I have found (listed below):
ERR – [https://news.err.ee/](https://news.err.ee/)
Postimees – [https://news.postimees.ee/](https://news.postimees.ee/)
Baltic Times – [https://www.baltictimes.com/](https://www.baltictimes.com/)
One other thing I should mention: we use an article-saving software that doesn’t allow me to quickly save content I used an extension to translate, so I’m largely restricted to English-language material. If there is any foreign language sources you really think I should know about, I’d still be happy to look!
Thank you to anyone who helps!

ERR is the obvious choice for estonian news for foreigners – it’s our national broadcasting system, that also publishes news in english. They’re the least biased and don’t do clickbait.
ERR for sure
If you can wade through ads while translating half-accessible stories, then also:
– ohtuleht.ee
– delfi.ee
– ekspress.ee
Everyone except ERR does a lot of clickbait, but ERR will position some articles as less important if it’s something that the government doesn’t want to talk about IMO.
They’ll still write about, just not feature it as heavily.
I would not add Postimees, they have been spiraling downwards for ages.
I would add Twitter, half od Estonian twitter, considering news is in English
ERR as everyone said. It’s English site is the most used Estonian site for news reference by foreign media as well.
[Delfi.ee](https://Delfi.ee) is the most popular.
It’s covers a lot of different areas, which means it has lots of shite in it, but it also covers *everything*, not all of it that badly. I prefer it to Postimees. It incorporates Eesti Päevaleht, a daily newspaper, which is ok, and Ekspress which has some, if not the best investigative journalism, but it’s a weekly newspaper, not daily.
Õhtuleht might by ok, dunno, everything is paywalled. Loads of paweall stuff in Delfi too I guess, but I have access, so I’m not aware. Postimees is also often paywalled but I only use it when I have to anyway.
Was ERR already mentioned? Ok, whatever, ERR it is.
Quite often when I see some delfi or postimees or epl or other portal news headline in social media, then I go directly to Err site to read actual news about it. Without even clicking original link. What is clickbait and also paywalled.
What the fuck is even “Baltic Times?”
