(WABI) – Jessica Meir is hard at work at the International Space Station.
The Caribou native and other crew members spent Wednesday studying the cardiovascular system.
The study is part of an investigation into how space causes blood flow changes in astronauts.
Meir is also working with fellow engineer Chris Williams configuring the tools they will use on an upcoming spacewalk which is scheduled for next Wednesday.
