Boy, 12, ‘rushed to A&E in agony’ after he was ‘attacked by bullies’ at school

  1. Negligent teachers must be sacked. Bullies must go see a judge in court.

Strangers would ask kids ‘are you ok?’ if they seemed unwell on the street, but a teacher in a classroom just told him to ‘sit up’. Medical report wasn’t enough for the police to make an arrest? The police must be investigated too

  2. While this is obviously horrible, at least it didn’t happen in America where the family would be footed with a massive hospital bill.

  3. The dude had testicular torsion of both his testicles… thats where the tesitcles twist and their blood supply is cut. Its an emergency. Testicles can completely die within 6 hours… I wouldnt be surprised if testicles have died and hes infertile.
Those bullies need to be arrested/ the school sued.

  4. From what I understand, testicular torsion is fucking agony. So either this lad needs signing up to the SAS for his incredible resistance to torture, or each and every one of his teachers that day need investigating for how they could be so negligent

  5. Poor fucking bastard getting bullied and on top having that hell no that could ruin his chances of kids.

Unfortunately i can’t say more because a few pussies might get offended by the words i use and 2 i’ll definitely get banned.

So use your imagination either way i feel for that kid.

  6. This absolutely sounds horrific, and shame on the teachers for not realising something was up/providing a safe opportunity for him to disclose what happened.

It’s not a defense for the school, but I do find it relevant that the boys paremts ultimately took him home from school, it was only when his sleep was disturbed at night that everything was uncovered.

  7. Yet another story of useless teachers. They were useless decades ago when it came to bullying and their treatment towards kids with bullying (or parental abuse, for that matter) problems and still are. They’re similar to police in a way….it’s worth telling your kids to tell a teacher or reporting a crime to the police, but you should expect that you’ll have to deal with it in some other way.

  8. It’s also a good idea to remind students that the law allows them the right to self defence as there’s no age, location or setting limit placed on such right.

  9. We really need to stop using the word “bullying” for this sort of thing and describe it as what it actually is.

Bullying is a word that schools love. It’s a weasel word that absolves them of responsibility for actually doing anything – after all, every school has bullying and even most workplaces have probably had it at some point.

Start calling it what it is – abuse, harassment and assault.

  10. Not to defend the teachers in this particular story but if schools were better funded they could have 2x heads of year per year group, maybe even someone dedicated to mediating bullying situations before it gets out of hand. Ordinary classroom teachers are too busy planning, marking, on duty, etc to see the signs. Most lunchtimes are spent in classrooms doing work and not out and about the playground checking for bullying

  11. Parents raise terrible human beings that would do something like this to another human being. No one talks about that and people blame the teacher. Not all teachers are blameless sure, but people absolve bad parents of blame so easily it’s mind boggling.

  12. Nothing ever changes, schools love to shove their fingers in their ears and shout lalalalalala when it comes to bullying.

My old headteacher stood up on many occasions and stated there was absolutely no bullying in his school. Which was complete rubbish and everyone knew it.

  13. Its amazing being at school. You can commit gbh and just get a few days off school. Those were the days…

  14. Langdon Park have been facing a Twitter mob over the last few days. Apparently lots of people have had problems with bullying at that place.

It’s one of those times where you wish Ofsted had greater powers. The problem with an Ofsted inspection is that it’s pre-planned and often schools just send their worst students home to cover up any issues. I wish Ofsted could do undercover investigations.

  15. A lot of people talking about what should happen to this person and that person and all I’m thinking is “seriously? Be real now. We all just watched while the UK government slaughtered the elderly and vulnerable, sent poor kids into danger and kept theirs safe and is now dismantling our NHS” all these things make me think we’re gona do F all. We’ll comment with anger then go back to doing F all while the tories smother us with poverty and less rights.
