Average sleeping hours (unfortunately not all countries)

  1. Averages are always fun; who are all the 9-hour hibernators who balance out the 5-hour eager beavers?

  2. Pfft I sleep like 9 hours, sometimes even 10. I thought that something might be wrong with me that I need so much sleep, but I called my sister who has a completely different lifestyle and she’s the same, so I guess it’s a genetic thing.

  3. Montenegro is grey because computer making the calculations broke down since it is not capable of registering such high numbers.

  4. Average working time in Turkey is 10-12 hours per day. Also, Istanbul traffic is famous in Turkey, it usually takes 1-2 hours to commute. Moreover, we are the country that sleeps the least in Europe. Because if we sleep, we can’t take time for ourselves because of our work. If you come to Turkey, you will see that people are tired and can get angry quickly.

AKP not only destroyed the economy, it also destroyed the psychology of the people. If the AKP wins in 2023, then all hope for Turkey is gone, because what comes next is an irreversible stage.

  5. The Dutch sleep so much so that they don’t have to heat their homes as much. Thermostat goes back to 15 degrees when asleep.

    Sleeping saves us money!

  6. As a Turkish person this gets affected by both long work times I. Western parts because of low wages and the Eastern more village like types encourage waking up early my grandma always wakes up at like 5 am despite sleeping towards 11 pm and would usually wake everyone else too and this may also be effected by the education system of turkey being closer to Asian which is a bit harder relative to other countries so students sleep less for studying which makes the answer from all generations a low amount
