Hello all, I’m Heng or you can call me Kim Song, an editorial cartoonist from Singapore.
I’m new to Reddit and am wondering about the interest towards editorial cartoons here. Definitely happy to share more of my cartoons here on Europe-centric issues!
You can find more of my cartoons on my Twitter or IG @hengontheworld in the meantime!
In the grand deal he made with Putin to save his rear-end from a population that despises him, Lukashenko has reduced Belarus to a Russian protectorate.
Putin will now do whatever he damn well pleases there -as we have been seeing at the Polish border- and the Kremlin enjoys total veto power over anything Belarus does at home or abroad. They are now just another weapon in Vladimir Putin’s hybrid war toolbox
And when/if the Russians tire of him, they’ll pull the rug out and he’ll be gone in a week. Then they’ll replace him with a fake parliamentary democracy loyal to Moscow
You forgot to draw in Lukashenko’s collar.
Western sanctions are not toothless, every Russian had his pay (or the value from it) cut in half since 2014.
Every single Russian is paying dearly for Crimea.
It looks like Lukashenko is dumping his boyfriend to live a wild romance with Putin in Siberia.
