Democrat Julie Stauch announced her withdrawal from Iowa’s race for governor after her petitions did not meet the necessary requirements, according to a social media post made just before midnight last night.In the post, Stauch said the Secretary of State’s election office informed her that her petitions did not meet the requirements during their review.
