Jesus 18. Poor girl and women, glad they’re free and they caught the arseholes. Hopefully we’ll seize everything they own and deport them one they’ve served their time. Also what’s up with Asians and white girls? Seems they were particularly brutal to them.
Normally I am what Americans would incorrectly call a ‘Liberal’, but I just don’t understand why those sentences were so light. This is slavery and abuse, why hasn’t the full weight of the law come crashing down on them?
Title is misleading, ignores and belittles the crime here – its trafficking not slavery

The modern day slavery is taking place at most of fruit farm across the country, you don’t need to look far.
Seven and eight years max seem awfully low for the abuse they’ve been dealing.

What happens to the women now? When I lived in the Netherlands they had a rehabilitation scheme and allowed them to stay to prevent them being trafficked again. I can’t see Patel being in favour of that. It’s treating furriners well and denying ‘businessmen’ fair profit.
Three nationalities mentioned; Polish, Pakistani and Indian.
